HydroPure Tinted Serum

A serum first, a tint second

HydroPure is built like a hydrating serum that happens to carry pigment: two forms of hyaluronic acid for water, squalane and shea for the lipid side, and coenzyme Q10, vitamin C and green tea as antioxidants, with aloe, oat, calendula and allantoin to calm. The mineral pigments give sheer, buildable coverage that evens tone and blurs lines without covering skin over.

The finish

Dewy and skin-like. It reads as healthy skin rather than makeup, which is the point for anyone who finds foundation too much but wants tone evened.

No SPF

Unlike PurePressed Base, HydroPure carries no sunscreen, so it goes over your morning SPF, never instead of it.

The fit

The no-makeup-makeup option for dry, sensitive and mature skin. Wear it alone for a sheer wash, or set it with PurePressed Base where you want more coverage.

Normal to dry skin that wants hydration with its coverage; sensitive skin that reacts to conventional tinted moisturisers; mature skin where powder settles into lines; and anyone wanting a dewy, minimal finish for everyday.

Worth knowing

Two shades here: Light 2 and Light to Medium 3, both neutral and forgiving because the coverage is sheer. Contains beeswax, so not vegan; contains willow bark extract, a salicylate, and a little alcohol. Fragrance-free, dermatologist and sensitivity tested, cruelty-free. Oily or acne-prone skin usually prefers PurePressed Base.

Mornings, after serum and sunscreen have set. Warm a pea-sized amount between fingers and press over the face, blending outward; build a second layer where tone needs more evening.

Set with PurePressed Base through the T-zone if you want a matte centre, or leave bare for the dewy finish.

Use alongside

Over Advanced Day Total Protect or Ultra Facial Defense SPF50+. Over Hydr8 B5 on very dry days. Under PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation Refill where coverage is wanted. Remove at night with a cleansing oil before your usual cleanser.
