How it works

The cream-to-oil texture is emulsifier chemistry working in your favour: it starts as a comfortable cream, warms into an oil that binds to makeup, sunscreen and sebum, then rinses off completely when water is added. Squalane and hydrolysed jojoba esters supply the cleansing lipids, glycerin holds hydration through the rinse, and Alteromonas ferment extract, a marine-derived soother, leaves skin calm rather than tight.

Who it suits

Normal, dry and mature skin, and anyone who wears daily SPF or makeup and wants one cleanser that removes both gently. The lavender, sage and oakmoss content means very reactive skin should patch test first.

How to use

Massage one to two pumps onto dry skin, morning and evening, then add warm water to emulsify and rinse thoroughly.

Layering

First step of any routine. Doubles as the first cleanse in an evening double-cleanse ahead of a water-based cleanser.
