Where the ladder begins: 0.3% time-release retinol in a cushioning squalane base. A gentle, well-buffered first retinol that starts the renewal work on early lines and uneven texture.

How it works

Time-release technology feeds 0.3% retinol into the skin slowly overnight, easing skin into vitamin A with far less of the classic adjustment irritation. The squalane and safflower base comforts as it works, and vitamin E adds antioxidant support.

Who it suits

First-time retinoid users and sensitive-leaning skin starting on lines, texture or tone. Not for use while pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use

Evenings only. Massage 3 to 4 drops into clean, dry skin, starting two nights per week and building to nightly over a month. Follow with moisturiser.

Layering

Apply to dry skin before moisturiser. Keep acids to different nights and wear SPF every morning.

Not suitable if

  • You are pregnant
  • Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, contains retinol
  • Do not layer with other retinoids or exfoliating acids on the same night
  • Increases sun sensitivity, daily SPF essential
  • Not for broken or irritated skin
  • Fragrance free, but contains patchouli oil, patch test if sensitive

Good to know

  • Patch test on a small area of skin before first full use
  • Increases skin sensitivity to UV. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily
