Micellar Mousse

Micelles, whipped

Micelles are tiny cleansing spheres that surround oil, makeup and grime so water can carry them away. Here they arrive as an airy mousse: sulphate-free, coconut-derived surfactants whip into a dense foam that does the work without scrubbing.

The seed extract

Moringa seed extract has a documented affinity for fine particulate grime, the urban dust that ordinary rinsing leaves behind, which is why this cleanser is pitched at city skin.

The finish

Glycerin and a touch of olive fruit oil leave the surface soft rather than squeaky, with natural saponins from acacia and desert date supporting the foam. The citrus scent comes from cold-pressed peel oils rather than added parfum.

Normal, combination and city-dwelling skin wanting one quick, thorough cleanse morning and evening; makeup and SPF wearers who prefer foam to balm; and anyone building a routine around actives who needs the first step simple and dependable.

Worth knowing

The citrus notes come from essential oils, including bergamot and bitter orange, with limonene on the label; very reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin may be happier with Gentle Cleanse. Use around, not in, the eyes.

Morning and evening as the first step: dispense one or two pumps into damp hands, massage over the face and rinse thoroughly.

Removing heavier makeup, start with a cleansing oil or balm and follow with the mousse as the second cleanse.
