The daytime brief

A straightforward emollient base, fractionated coconut triglycerides and light esters in a classic cream architecture, hydrates without weight or shine, which is most of what a daytime moisturiser is actually asked to do.

The mineral finish

Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, the same minerals prized in cosmetics for their optical behaviour, give the cream its signature soft-focus, subtly mattifying finish: surface texture reads smoother, shine stays down, and makeup grips evenly. Zinc oxide also brings its long-standing gentleness, the calamine-lotion mineral, to what is already a fragrance-free formula.

What it is not

In Australia this product is sold as a moisturiser, and we describe it as exactly that: it carries no sunscreen rating here, so your morning still finishes with a dedicated SPF over the top.

The antioxidant note

Two forms of vitamin E ride along as the formula’s antioxidant guard.

Worth knowing

Fragrance-free with no botanical extracts, one of the least allergenic bases on the shelf. The mineral content can leave the faintest brightening cast on very deep skin tones; check the finish before committing. And to repeat the label logic: this is not a rated sunscreen in Australia, SPF still finishes the morning.

Mornings after serums: massage evenly over face and neck, allow a minute to settle, then apply SPF and makeup as usual.
