Six filters, one shield

Two of the most advanced broad-spectrum filters in use, bemotrizinol and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, the photostable pair developed in Europe, anchor the protection, alongside avobenzone for long UVA, octyl methoxycinnamate and octocrylene for UVB (octocrylene also steadies avobenzone), and a supporting dose of mineral titanium dioxide. Overlapping filters cover each other’s gaps across the UV spectrum.

Why the texture matters

Sunscreen only works at the dose actually applied, and most people underapply heavy creams. A water-light fluid that disappears on skin is protection people genuinely reapply, which is the whole game.

The skincare riding along

Sodium hyaluronate, argan, avocado and olive lipids, vitamin E and a photostable antioxidant mean it behaves like light skincare, not like a beach product.

The claims, precisely

SPF 50+, very SPF 50+ protection against solar radiation; used as directed, it may reduce the risk of some skin cancers and can aid in the prevention of sunspots. No sunscreen blocks everything: avoid prolonged sun, and wear protective clothing, a hat and eyewear.

Every skin on this shelf, every morning, and non-negotiably anyone running a pigment program (Melan Tran3x), exfoliating acids or retinoids, where daily SPF 50+ protection is part of the treatment itself.

Worth knowing

Contains soya bean products, avoid with soy allergy, plus fragrance; patch test if fragrance-sensitive. Not for broken, damaged or diseased skin, and keep it out of the eyes. Contains 5% ethanol.

Apply generously 20 minutes before sun exposure as the final skincare step. Reapply frequently, and always after swimming, sweating or towelling, a morning application does not last the day.

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. For external use only.

Use alongside
