How it works

The mineral pair

Zinc oxide at 25%, a serious commitment by any mineral-formula standard, carries protection across UVB and the full UVA range, with titanium dioxide at 7.7% reinforcing the shorter wavelengths. Both filters are photostable all day and sit on the skin’s surface rather than engaging with it, which is why mineral is the dermatology default for reactive and recovering skin.

The tint that works twice

Iron oxides erase the classic mineral white cast, and screen part of visible light itself, the band research links to pigment provocation in melasma-prone skin. For anyone on a pigment program, a tinted mineral sunscreen is part of the treatment logic, not just cosmetic.

The skincare base

Argan, avocado, olive and sunflower lipids with vitamins E and a prebiotic (inulin) and soothing milk protein keep a 25% mineral formula feeling like skincare, fragrance-free throughout.

The claims, precisely

SPF 50+ protection against solar radiation; used as directed, it may reduce the risk of some skin cancers and can aid in the prevention of sunspots. No sunscreen blocks everything: avoid prolonged sun, and add protective clothing, a hat and eyewear.

Who it suits

Sensitive, reactive and allergy-prone skin, skin recovering from clinic treatments (once your practitioner clears sunscreen), melasma and pigment-prone skin wanting visible-light coverage, and anyone who simply prefers an all-mineral formula.

Worth knowing

Contains soya bean and milk products, avoid with soy or dairy allergy. Not for broken, damaged or diseased skin, and keep it out of the eyes. The iron-oxide tint is universal-leaning but worth checking against very fair or very deep skin tones before committing.

How to use

Apply generously 20 minutes before sun exposure as the final skincare step. Reapply frequently, and always after swimming, sweating or towelling.

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. For external use only.

Layering

Use alongside

The final morning layer over any routine, and the specifically recommended partner for the Melan Tran3x program, where its visible-light tint adds cover the pigment work benefits from. Water Veil is its sibling: choose mineral (this) for reactive, recovering or pigment-focused skin, or the water-light hybrid for everyday invisibility.
