Cleansing without surfactant load

Instead of foam, this formula cleanses with an emulsion of triglycerides and skin-identical lipids, dissolving oil, sunscreen and makeup the way a balm does, then rinsing to a soft finish. For a compromised barrier, what a cleanser leaves out matters as much as what it removes.

Feeding the barrier on the way through

Phospholipids, glycolipids and soy sterols are the same lipid classes skin’s own barrier is built from; sacha inchi oil supplies the omega fatty acids skin cannot make itself; betaine and lysine condition.

The sugar complex

Rhamnose, glucose and glucuronic acid, a prebiotic sugar trio research associates with skin-renewal markers and a well-conditioned surface environment.

The scent

Amyris, vanilla, cedarwood, mandarin and rosemary oils give a soft woody-citrus character with declared limonene.

Dry, depleted and barrier-compromised skin, including skin recovering between clinical treatments, and anyone whose face feels tight after even gentle foaming cleansers.

Worth knowing

The botanical oil blend means fragrance-reactive skin should patch test; for fully fragrance-averse skin, Mild Clean remains the quietest option in the Dr line.

Morning and evening, massage over damp skin, no lather will form, by design, then rinse thoroughly or remove with a soft damp cloth.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
