Phyto Corrective Gel

Sale price$127.00

A botanical soothing gel for redness-prone and stressed skin: hyaluronic acid with olive leaf, cucumber, thyme and mulberry extracts in a featherweight, cooling base.

When to use Morning and evening, after cleansing, alone or under moisturiser
How it works

The calm-down brief

This is the gel clinics reach for when skin looks flushed and feels warm: a water-light hyaluronic base carrying botanicals chosen for comfort, olive leaf, cucumber, thyme and mulberry root among them.

Why a gel

No oils, no occlusion, nothing for stressed skin to argue with. It cools on contact, sinks in fast and layers under anything, which is why it doubles as a redness step and a featherweight summer hydrator.

The honest caveat

The formula is scented and lightly tinted in the classic SkinCeuticals way, with fragrance allergens on the label. Most skin never notices; the most reactive skin should patch test, and truly compromised skin belongs with fragrance-free recovery care first.

Who it suits

Skin that flushes easily or reads red by the end of the day; combination and oily skin wanting hydration with no weight at all; and skin in the later stages of settling after clinic treatments, once your practitioner clears the return to actives.

Worth knowing

Scented, lightly tinted, and carrying eucalyptus oil among its botanicals: a soothing product for resilient-but-reactive skin rather than a clinical recovery dressing. Keep it in the fridge through summer; the cooling is genuine.

How to use

Morning and evening, or whenever skin runs warm: press a thin layer over face and neck after cleansing, alone or under moisturiser.

It also works as a generous ten-minute masque layer when skin has had a big day.

Layering

Use alongside

Follows any serum and precedes any cream: over vitamin C mornings it adds comfort without weight, and after retinal evenings it takes the edge off. Gentle Cleanse ahead of it keeps the whole routine in the same temperament.
