How it works

Extreme B 17

A 17% niacinamide serum with panthenol and Canadian willowherb: it strengthens the barrier, calms redness, keeps oil and congestion in check and refines the look of pores. The serum that makes everything else in the routine behave.

Extreme C 20

A 20% vitamin C serum with peptides and vitamin E: brightening, antioxidant protection and support for firmness, built on a stable form of vitamin C that suits daily use.

Why together

Niacinamide and vitamin C are a classic pair: B 17 settles and fortifies, C 20 brightens and defends. Layered morning and night they cover barrier, tone, congestion and early ageing in two steps.

Who it suits

Most skin types wanting a complete serum routine from one brand: dull or uneven tone, early lines, congestion-prone or barrier-stressed skin, and anyone building their first serious routine.

Worth knowing

Both serums contain citrus essential oils and Australian botanical extracts. Skin with a known citrus or fragrance allergy, or that reacts to essential oils, should look to a fragrance-free pairing instead. Suitable during pregnancy.

How to use

Morning and evening on cleansed skin: apply 2 to 3 drops of Extreme B 17, allow a moment to absorb, then 2 to 3 drops of Extreme C 20.

Follow with moisturiser, and SPF in the morning.

Layering

Use alongside

Aspect's Gentle Clean or Purastat 5 cleanser before, Hydrating Serum or Phytostat 9 after. Retinoids such as Retinol Brightening Cream can go over the pair at night once skin is settled.
