Seven gentle surfactants, glucosides, amphoteric agents, a taurate and an amaranth-protein cleanser, share the work no single harsh one would do alone: a genuine foam that lifts oil, sunscreen and makeup at skin-friendly pH.

Gluconolactone and its gluconate cousins are polyhydroxy acids, the gentlest of the exfoliating family. At rinse-off contact times they condition and brighten softly rather than exfoliate outright, leaving a smooth, comfortable finish.

The scent

White grapefruit and Australian sandalwood, with declared farnesol and limonene.

All skin types wanting one dependable daily gel, including skin that finds foaming cleansers stripping but still wants the foam.

Worth knowing

The citrus and sandalwood oils carry declared fragrance allergens; fragrance-reactive skin should patch test.

Morning and evening, work a small amount into a lather on damp skin, massage and rinse thoroughly.
