Rebalance, not strip

Cleansing nudges skin away from its natural pH. This toner brings it back without a drop of drying alcohol, so the next steps absorb into calm, receptive skin rather than tight skin.

Niacinamide and prebiotics

Niacinamide supports the barrier and helps refine the look of pores, while inulin and alpha-glucan oligosaccharide feed the skin's own microbiome so it can keep itself in balance.

The soothing bench

Allantoin, aloe leaf juice, beta-glucan and Roman chamomile water settle redness and reactivity; witch hazel leaf extract and rosemary water keep it fresh and lightly clarifying.

Sensitive, reactive and redness-prone skin that still wants a toning step; combination and congestion-prone skin that needs balancing without harshness; and anyone rebuilding a routine around retinoids or acids who wants the gentlest possible in-between step.

Worth knowing

Fragrance-free and essential oil-free (the chamomile and rosemary are floral waters, not oils). Suitable during pregnancy.

Morning and evening after cleansing: apply with a cotton pad or press in with clean hands over face and neck.

Follow with serums and moisturiser while skin is still slightly damp.

Use alongside

Gentle Cleanse before it, Hydr8 B5 straight after while skin is damp, and any retinoid or vitamin C on top. It has no actives that clash, so it fits any routine in the range.
