Oil against oil

Makeup, sunscreen and sebum are oil-phase, an oil cleanser dissolves them directly, and the built-in emulsifier turns the whole mixture milky on contact with water so it rinses without residue.

Seven-oil blend

Olive and safflower for the cleanse, moringa, kukui and argan for their fatty-acid richness, sesame and soybean rounding out the spread, chosen to leave the barrier comfortable rather than stripped.

Worth knowing

Contains sesame oil and kukui (candlenut, a tree nut), both relevant for allergies, plus orange peel oil with declared limonene. Patch test where any apply.

Evenings, massage one to two pumps over dry skin to dissolve makeup and sunscreen, add water to emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.

Follow with your usual cleanser if you double-cleanse.
