Body skin, face logic

Body skin is thicker than facial skin but has fewer oil glands on the limbs, which is why shins and forearms are where dryness shows first. This cream applies the standard face-care architecture: glycerin, aloe and hyaluronic acid to draw and hold water, olive, sunflower, shea and jojoba to soften, and light occlusives to keep it all in.

The botanical layer

Green tea, comfrey, olive leaf, licorice root and hibiscus extracts contribute antioxidant and conditioning support, with trace vitamins A, C and E rounding out the formula.

The finish

Tangerine, orange and lemon peel oils give the citrus scent; triethyl citrate keeps it soft rather than sharp.

Worth knowing

Contains willow bark, a natural source of salicylates, relevant for aspirin allergy, plus citrus oils with declared limonene and citral. Fragrance-reactive skin should patch test.

Massage over the body daily, ideally straight after showering while skin is still slightly damp, trapped water is free hydration.

Reapply to hands and shins as needed through the day.
