A niacinamide-led serum with supporting botanicals for barrier support, tone and congestion-prone skin.

When to use Morning and evening, after cleansing, before moisturiser
How it works

Niacinamide first

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) sits second on the ingredient list, a genuinely high inclusion. Research associates it with support for barrier lipid production, regulation of the look of oil and pores, and a more even skin tone, which is why it anchors serums aimed at skin doing several difficult things at once.

The wider B group

Panthenol (B5) for hydration and comfort, with folic acid, riboflavin, biotin, inositol, thiamine, pyridoxine and B12 rounding out the complex the name refers to.

Ferments and botanicals

Marine ferment extracts contribute humectant support, yeast extract its conditioning sugars, and Canadian Willowherb with Australian native antioxidants steady the formula.

Why it plays well with others

Niacinamide neither exfoliates nor converts like a retinoid, so it layers under or alongside almost any routine, often the serum that makes stronger actives easier to live with.

Who it suits

Most skin, most of the time, and especially skin juggling visible redness, congestion and dullness together, or supporting a barrier through a retinoid routine.

Worth knowing

The formula carries orange, lemon myrtle and spearmint oils with declared limonene, linalool and citral. Skin that reacts to fragrance should patch test first, Gentle Clean plus a plain moisturiser remains the safer landing for very reactive skin.

How to use

Morning and evening, apply four to five drops to clean, dry skin before moisturiser.

Layers comfortably under sunscreen and makeup in the morning.

Layering

Use alongside

Practically everything, retinoids (Retinol Brulee, Retinal LGS+), vitamin C, exfoliating acids and daily SPF. Apply the thinnest texture first, which usually means this serum early in the routine.

On retinoid nights it makes a natural companion layer rather than a conflict.

Before you start

Not suitable if

  • Known citrus, mint or fragrance allergy
  • Sulfite sensitivity

Good to know

  • Patch test on a small area of skin before first full use
