The first three ingredients are cholesteryl esters, molecules that organise themselves into the same lamellar liquid-crystal structure skin’s own barrier lipids use. They give the serum its signature shimmer, an immediate soft-focus effect on fine lines, and a skin-compatible vehicle for everything else.

The antioxidant payload

A spin trap binds radicals into stable complexes; R-lipoic acid, the ‘universal antioxidant’, works in both water and oil phases and is associated in research with recharging spent vitamins C, E and glutathione; copper gluconate supplies the mineral cofactor for the skin’s own antioxidant enzymes.

The botanical support

Corn silk, traditionally used around the eyes, with the Ayurvedic blend and coconut juice for lightweight hydration.

Why the eye area
